Hi Kim, just managed to browse your site again. Been a while. I saw your reply and understand it, getting things done quickly is nice, but getting them done correctly is better. I just hope you backed up before you did anything in the pc secrets. Most is ok to do, but there are a few things you should not do. In particular - Please do not delete the dllcache folder or anything in it unless you know for sure it has become corrupted, it is part of windows file protection. If you delete these files when windows finds a problem with a system file it will not be able to restore the correct version. It can do this automatically or with system file checker. Either way windows needs to have the latest updates in that cache or it will ask for the cd and then you risk putting outdated files into your pc which will create a situation where you can and most likely will have instability and crashes. There are other things to consider as well but I hope most people know to at least check things out a little before trying them. Remember all real techs will tell you the number one rule is BACKUP regularly and BACKUP again before attempting any changes. As for the software recommended, it is not bad, but in some cases there are better ones to use and they are also free. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your comment James. While this information may be freely available, perhaps not everyone has the time to search for it, or if they do, may end up with conflicting opinions and become confused as to which tweaks to try.

Personally I've purchased this product and found it to be very helpful in quickly tweaking my machine and getting back some of the speed I'd lost over the past couple of years of use. This report also includes some good software recommendations, which I have also downloaded and/or purchased that have given me a lot more control over my PC.

The information provided is freely available though incomplete and in a few points incorrect.
Do NOT waste your money, get real information from professionals who do give it away for free.
Try a tweak forum, check out tweakhound, read black viper... save your money and get good full information elsewhere.

Hi again Kim

Well all I can say after looking at the offending site is... This guy's got no guts at all! I honestly just can't believe he copied SO-O-O much of your material - even the TOS and privacy statements. I'm lost for words!!!!!
And that's unusual :)

An interesting difference was that he only took TWO months to set it up, while you said THREE. Well... now we all know why!

I did not post the culprit's information for professional reasons. I don't believe in bashing people publicly, however the number of requests I've received may just get me to act. I've probably received 50 or so requests since my mailing on the issue.

I'm not real impressed with the Alexa rank but it's less than a million so I suppose I should be pleased.

The sites take about 10-20 minutes each to set up. Not much time really but when you do several of them all at once, it can become quite boring. I still have quite a few to set up when I can find the time but I figured these were enough to get some results for my testing.

Not really promoting means not promoting other than a link from my blog. I think I submitted google sitemaps to two of them. So far I have not received ANY adsense income from these sites so I'm just going to let them ride for a couple months and see what trickles in.

Name him and shame him Kim! Don't be vague...

Let everyone know who did this so we can avoid him like the plague.

It's the only way this sort of crap can be stopped!

Hi Kim

Good luck with the experiment!

I've stayed away from MFA sites forever, but after a recent Adsense package purchase, I'm feeling very inclined to set up a similar little experiment of my own shortly... need something to give my main Adsense earnings a little boost! Thinking of putting it on an existing domain which is currently earning marginal dollars from Adsense, and then compare the difference in a couple of months.

Interesting to see the yourlifeinfo.com domain already has a fairly goodish Alexa rank for a new domain:)

Just wondering though... you said these sites of yours take some time to set up... how long DID it take to set the 16 sites up?

Would also like to clarify what you mean by "not really promoting these sites". Does that you mean you'll only do a couple of links from your other sites and rely on organic results, as opposed to PPC and other marketing methods?

Cheers

I am hardly your best customer but you continue to treat me as if I were, thank you for your generous nature and lack of marketing scrap that is delivered from so many would be Guroooo's! You are on my safe list and you will remain there for as long as I am trading online! I really appreciate the no bull approach. kindest regards, Fred
