Sometimes we just need to push

Filed under: My Spiritual Search - 30 Oct 2007

A man was sleeping one night in his cabin when suddenly his room filled with light, and God appeared. The Lord told the man he had work for him to do, and showed him a large rock in front of his cabin. The Lord explained that the man was to Push against the rock with all his might… So, this the man did, day after day for many years he toiled from sun up to sun down, his shoulders set squarely against the cold, massive surface of the unmoving rock, Pushing with all of his might. Each night the man returned to his cabin sore and worn out, feeling that his whole day had been spent in vain.

Since the man was showing discouragement, the adversary (Satan) decided to enter the picture by placing thoughts into the weary mind: (He will do it every time) “You have been Pushing against that rock for a long time and it hasn’t moved.” Thus, he gave the man the impression that the task was impossible and that he was a failure. These thoughts discouraged and disheartened the man. Satan said, “Why kill yourself over this? Just put in your time, giving just the minimum effort; and that will be good enough.”

That’s what the weary man planned to do, but decided to make it a matter of Prayer and to take his troubled thoughts to The Lord. “Lord,” he said, “I have labored long and hard in Your Service, putting all my strength to do that which you have asked. Yet, after all this time, I have not even budged that rock by half a millimeter. What is wrong? Why am I failing?”

The Lord responded compassionately, “My friend, when I asked you to serve Me and you accepted, I told you that your task was to Push against the rock with all of your strength, which you have done. Never once did I mention to you that I expected you to move it. Your task was to Push. And now you come to Me with your strength spent, thinking that you have failed. But, is that really so? Look at yourself. Your arms are strong and muscled, your back shiny and brown; your hands are calloused from constant pressure, your legs have become massive and hard.

Through opposition you have grown much, and your abilities now surpass that which you used to have. True, you haven’t moved the rock. But your calling was to be Obedient and to Push and to exercise your Faith and trust in My Wisdom. That you have done. Now, I, my friend, will move the rock.”

At times, when we hear a Word from God, we tend to use our own intellect to decipher what He wants, when actually what God wants is just Simple Obedience and Faith in Him. By all means, exercise The Faith that moves mountains, but know that it is still God Who Moves The Mountains.

When everything seems to go wrong… Just P.U.S.H.!
When the job gets you down… Just P.U.S.H.!
When people don’t do as you think they should… Just P.U.S.H!
When you can’t find the right work… Just P.U.S.H.!
When your money is “gone” and the bills are due… Just P.U.S.H!
When people just don’t understand you… Just P.U.S.H.!

Interesting quote

Filed under: My Spiritual Search - 17 Sep 2007

David Rockefeller, former head of the Chase Manhattan Bank and founder of the Trilateral Commission recently had his memoirs published, in which he stated the following:

“For more than a century ideological extremists at either end of the political spectrum have seized upon well-publicized incidents, such as my encounter with Castro, to attack the Rockefeller family for the inordinate influence they claim we wield over American political and economic institutions. Some even believe we are part of a secret cabal working against the best interests of the United States, characterizing my family and me as ‘internationalists’ and of conspiring with others around the world to build a more integrated global political and economic structure — one world, if you will. If that’s the charge, I stand guilty, and I am proud of it.”

Questioning Values

Filed under: My Spiritual Search - 17 Sep 2007

I’ve not given up on my blog or my subscribers. I have been questioning my life-long held values as of recent due to some rather disturbing findings lately.

I’ve been doing some research and am shocked at some of the things I’m finding. First, I’m learning that the North American Union is not a joke, it’s really going to happen. This explains why our President and other elected officials are not pushing to secure our borders. I’m not going to even try to share everything I’ve learned, but Google “North American Union” and see what you find. Read information posted on reputable sites like the Boston Globe, CNN or other media. YouTube also has some interesting news broadcasts on video that may be of interest.

You’ll discover that the NAU treaty was signed in 2005 by George W. Bush. Dig a little deeper and you will also learn that in this country, treaties entered into by the sitting President take precedence over U.S. laws and do not require approval by the Senate or the House. You will soon no longer be pledging allegiance to our current flag but to the North American Union instead.
The REAL ID card is also no joke. American citizens will soon be forced to get a Federal ID card. Without it, you can not enter federal buildings, board a plane, get or hold a job, open or access any federally insured bank account. When will it be required to buy food as well?

Human micro chipping is also not a joke. Humans are already getting microchips inserted under their skin under the prose of identification purposes or as a means to locate medical records. When this microchip was invented for household pets, nobody seemed concerned, now they’re available for people as well.

Has our society gone so far that people will be treated as cattle and controlled by the very governments that we elect? There are rampant rumors of a 9/11 conspiracy that states that our own government planned and carried out the attacks on the World Trade Center.

Don’t believe it? I didn’t either until I saw proof. Ask yourself how no plane wreckage was seen at either the pentagon or in the field in Pennsylvania. Ask why the coroner who was in that field left after 20 minutes because there were no bodies. Ask yourself how those cell phone calls were made to families from passengers on flight 93 when the technology was not even available at that time for cell phones to work above 8,000 feet.

Many people will brand me as a freak, a nut case or a bible thumping conspiracy theorist. I expect it. I almost welcome it. Too many Americans are giving up their freedoms and believing everything the media spoon feeds them. They dare not question authority and follow along like lemmings.
