Category: Joint Venture GiftsMarch 6, 2008 No JV Alerts for awhileDue to the increasing popularity of giveaways and the overload of them the past couple months, I’ve decided to temporarily if not permanently suspend the JV alerts. August 24, 2007 JV AlertMarketing Central Giveaway 2 is accepting partners right now so get signed up before it starts: August 17, 2007 Round 2 giveaway slowing downRound two of Joint Venture Gifts is slowing down. This happens with any giveaway launch, the first couple days get massive traffic but after the first week or so things begin to wind down a bit. I’ve decided to put off Round 3 for awhile. If you’ve ever run a giveaway before you’ll know what tremendous effort goes into running it. I need to spend more time focusing on my business and marketing, and less time trying to coordinate giveaway events. The huge number of giveaways cropping up all over the ‘net seems to have a lot of people burned out and disillusioned. Most of them are poorly put together and the ‘gifts’ are the same in just about all of them. Another problem I’ve discovered is that these events are basically “list sharing” in a round about way. A few marketers actually promote the giveaways and end up sharing a percentage of their list with those who don’t bother to promote the event at all. Anyway, I am not sure how long I will put off Round 3. Perhaps I’ll have another go at one when everyone is busy jumping onto the next marketing craze. July 18, 2007 JV AlertThere’s a new JV giveaway recruiting partners. This one is by a great friend of mine who helps me with the programming on my own JV site. http://kimhaas.com/likes/summer Get in early! July 17, 2007 JV Gifts UpdateThe recent problems with the script seem to have been sorted out and gifts now appear to be showing the correct “submitted by” name on the member download pages. The database is sound, it was the display code on the download page that was causing the problem. Now that the problem has been found and fixed, all remaining gifts will be approved, providing that all information for the gift has been submitted correctly and it is not a duplicate gift of course After a manual review of the database by myself and the programmer, I can assure you that all referrals are being and have been tracked accurately. Last but not least, I would like to apologize for the multiple emails you received while my programmer was testing the email system. We wanted to be absolutely sure there were no more bugs in the system. The email was not supposed to actually be sent out. If you would be so kind as to check your gift one more time in the member area just to be sure, I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks to everyone for your patience in this matter. I would especially like to thank those of you who sent me your name, the incorrect name beside your gift and the title of the gift(s) you submitted. That was a huge help in finding and fixing the problem. Now we can get on with building our lists! July 9, 2007 New JV AlertThis is just a quick email to let you know ThePLRVault Giveaway 5 is now taking JV Partners. This will be the last PLR Giveaway for 2007 Scott Case does, and it should be a HUGE giveaway. I’ve always had a good signup rate from the PLR Vault series giveaways. Giveaway Dates: Signup as a JV partner below: Be sure to read the giveaway rules on the signup page. June 23, 2007 JV AlertJust a quick note to let you know the US LIberty Day Giveaway has opened its doors to JV partners. You can sign up to become a contributor here: June 21, 2007 JV Gifts Partner UpdateWe’ve had another great week although referrals are slowing a bit, which is expected I suppose when running a 30-day giveaway. We’ve only had about 30 new members join and those few who have promoted this week have been the ones who are earning the OTO commissions. The current Top 10 standings are as follows: 1. Marek Brezina Remember, this giveaway is not done yet! There’s still 9 days left and I’m still offering a $25 bonus to the highest referrer. In Round 2 I will be offering a minimum of $50 to the top referrer and may consider upping that offer depending on how round 2 shapes up. I have an awesome script to run the next giveaway round that is going to rock the giveaway world. It has been completely customized by myself and another programmer. We’ve worked together to make this a truly unique giveaway script with lots of ways for members and contributors to earn commissions through Clicbank. Contributors who do not have any referrals will not receive a special invite for Round 2. |
