Yesterday I was cleaning my home, readying it for an appraiser’s visit today. I was surprised at how the cobwebs hung silently in corners. You don’t always notice them, but they’re there, clinging to corners and crevices.

After I got them all cleaned out, I realized how much better I felt about my home. It’s as if I got rid of old junk that had been cluttering up the simplicity of the rooms.

I realized how sometimes our business gets filled with cobwebs too. Old web pages we no longer use, old files on web hosts that we had forgotten about, outdated links that lead to nowhere, all serve as a sort of cobweb that needs cleaned out occasionally.

I must be the queen of cobwebs because I’ve found files on my PC dated 1999! This strikes me as odd because my PC isn’t even that old, but I guess I moved some of my old files to my new computer and promptly forgot about them.

Now that the kids have gone back to school, perhaps it’s a good time for you to start cleaning out your cobwebs too! It’s a great way to feel rejuvinated and fresh

I just reduced the price for Intelligent 404. Don’t these guys have any pride? I mean c’mon…if every marketer started crying every time something bad happened in their life we’d be constantly bombarded with these dumb sales (like we don’t get enough already?)

Personally, I feel these types of sales are a pitiful way for marketers to advertise and makes the marketer look bad.

Notice: I will no longer be promoting the MagniBar because a new solution is now available for me to reach my customers/clients. I have decided to promote the use of an RSS Ticker instead. Major updates may be available from time to time, however, minor upgrades/updates will not be uploaded.

1. MagniBar is currently an 8.59MB download. It is continually updated by the developer, so it continually has new bugs introduced. It is a work in progress, BUT it does have some nice uses.
2. The RSS ticker I will be promoting in the future is RSS Advantage. It is a small download of only 414kb and can be used to read any RSS feed - not just feeds from those who purchase a MagniBar distributor license.
3. RSS is a simple and safe way to contact customers without the need of dealing with email, spam filters etc.

Round two of Joint Venture Gifts is slowing down. This happens with any giveaway launch, the first couple days get massive traffic but after the first week or so things begin to wind down a bit.

I’ve decided to put off Round 3 for awhile. If you’ve ever run a giveaway before you’ll know what tremendous effort goes into running it.

I need to spend more time focusing on my business and marketing, and less time trying to coordinate giveaway events.

The huge number of giveaways cropping up all over the ‘net seems to have a lot of people burned out and disillusioned.  Most of them are poorly put together and the ‘gifts’ are the same in just about all of them.

Another problem I’ve discovered is that these events are basically “list sharing” in a round about way.  A few marketers actually promote the giveaways and end up sharing a percentage of their list with those who don’t bother to promote the event at all.

Anyway, I am not sure how long I will put off Round 3. Perhaps I’ll have another go at one when everyone is busy jumping onto the next marketing craze.

I often get people asking what my secrets to success are. The truth is, there are no “secrets”, just things YOU don’t know about yet.

One of my best kept “secrets” is where I get all my resell rights products without spending a fortune.

If you think I go out and buy every $27, $37 or $47 product and then turn around and sell it you can’t be more wrong.

I normally don’t tell folks where I get my products because frankly, that would be kind of silly…but for the first time ever, I’m going to tell you how I get $1700 worth of products every month for less than $16 a month.
